hello i am working on installing an xrdp server.Every thing is working well i when i try to log on xrdp my login is falling.What should be the default password and username??how can i change them?,

I have tried the proposed solution with gconf-editor.
I ran it both as my account as as root. No joy.
I see that xrdp is running as user xrdp but I have not been able to run it as that account. Do I need to set up the shell and set it there too?

Seems like this should have been resolved by now.

Leaves you with the ability to choose connection to the active locally logged in user’s session OR an arbitrary TightVNC session at the time of RDP connection. Documents working around the keyboard mapping bug, setting up xrdp, Vino, and tightvnc, and how to autostart tightvnc sessions at boot time.

its gconf-editor, not gconf_editor.

seems like a small typo, but it can cause a major headache if you don’t know what youre doing

Stopping xrdp: sesman xrdp.
Starting xrdp: It looks like xrdp is allready running,
if not delete the xrdp.pid file and try again
xrdp sesman.

i deleted the .pid and it worked but when the system shuts down the same happens again.

What error message do you get if you restart the service it from console?
Use the following command to do it:

sudo /etc/init.d/xrdp restart
